1 Injured In Eagan Parking Lot Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One man is hospitalized after being shot a parking lot in Eagan Wednesday afternoon.
At around 5:48 p.m., police say officers responded to a call at the intersection of Kings Road and Vienna Lane. When officers arrived at the scene, they say they found the victim, who had been shot in the leg.
Police say the preliminary investigation indicated the shooting occurred in the parking lot of a Days Inn hotel nearby, on Erin Lane. After the incident, the victim and companions drove to Kings Road and Vienna Lane to wait for police. Investigators aren't identifying the suspect, but say the victim knew his attacker.
The victim was later transported to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
