1 Dead, I Injured In Stearns Co. Car Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead and another is injured after a car accident in Stearns County Thursday morning.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, police responded to a call around 6:15 a.m. of a two motor vehicle accident at County Road 35 and County Road 37 in Millwood Township.
Upon arrival, police found both cars were damaged and both passengers sustained injuries.
According to police, a 42-year-old male, from Long Prairie, Minn., was traveling southbound on Co. Rd. 35 when he struck a 30-year-old male, from Sartell, Minn., who was traveling westbound on Co. Rd. 37.
Both men were taken to Melrose Hospital where the 30-year-old male was later pronounced dead.
The 42-year-old remains at the hospital at this time.
The accident is currently under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff''s Office.
