1 Dead After Single Vehicle Crash In Ramsey
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a car skidded off the road and crashed in Anoka County Sunday evening.
It happened on the 16600 block of Garnet Street NW in the town of Ramsey, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Department. Officers arrived on the scene at around 6:40 p.m. where they said they found a pickup truck that had apparently left the roadway, struck a tree, and come to rest in a yard nearby.
Authorities say the driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ramsey Police Department, Anoka County Sheriff's Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office are investigating.
