1 Charged In Columbia Heights Home Invasion, Assault
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Columbia Heights man faces charges after a home invasion robbery and assault last week, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday.
On June 5, police officers responded to the incident at the 4100 block of Jefferson Street Northeast. Upon arrival, police encountered a man with injuries and took into custody two people – a man and boy – who fled the residence after the robbery.
The adult suspect, identified as 20-year-old Austin Dennis, now faces first-degree aggravated robbery and two counts of first-degree burglary.
The juvenile has not been identified.
