State fair attendance bumps back up on Thursday
After a dip in numbers on Wednesday, state fair attendance on Thursday reached 117,077.
Like all the days so far, it's beaten the 2021 numbers, but isn't near the 156,764 figure that was reported in 2018. That year holds the record for most attendees on day 8 of the fair.
The attendance record for the second Friday at the fair was broken in 2019, with 209,789. But in 2021, the second Friday saw less than half of that, with 102,020 attendees.
