You Thought Last Night Was Cold? Prepare For An Even Chillier Night Tonight

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Don't put away those coats and sweaters yet.

An even colder night is forecast Tuesday.

With cold polar high pressure over the area, temperatures will fall quickly overnight bottoming out from around 50 on the beaches to the mid 40s inland.

Wind chill values during the night will hover in the low to mid 40s.

Winds switch direction early in the day on Wednesday allowing a warm up to get underway as readings climb into the low 70s for highs with even warmer temps expected on Thursday.
