Woman shot, allegedly, pushed out of moving car in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD -  A crashing end to a bizarre crime. A car plowed into a tree near Federal Highway and Wiley Street in Hollywood. Then two people ran from the car. Police are not saying how they may be involved.

Investigators believe the pair traveled just a few blocks — from Pembroke Road and US 1 on the Hollywood Hallandale Beach border.  It's here where, witnesses say, a woman was dumped out of a car and onto the street. Police are not confirming the person found was a man or woman or a victim or suspect.

"I seen her fall to the floor, like she took a step, like she fell and just collapsed. I stopped and stood over her and i was asking her, is she okay?" Lequane Payne said. He and strangers tried to help. One caller told  911 the person was thrown out of the car. 

"They threw her out the car, she flew out the car," he said. 

Detectives are not confirming if the person was pushed from the car or how they ended up on the street.  Just that they had multiple gunshot wounds. 

"The ambulance was saying she's shot.  They were saying for the police to come, 'She's shot.' They were saying she's shot," Payne said.
