MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A stop at a Plantation store proved lucrative for one Powerball player who hit big, winning Saturday's $80 million jackpot.
One ticket matched all five numbers and the Powerball; 09-10-16-20-57 and 15, according to lottery officials.
The winning quick pick ticket was purchased at Best Value Food Store, located at 1040 N.W. 47th Avenue in Plantation. The retailer will receive $40,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Florida, lottery officials said, has produced more Powerball winners with any other state since joining the game in 2009, including the record-setting $590.5 million jackpot winner.
