Winderman: "I Think Tyler Johnson Will Emerge" As 3-Point Threat
Miami Heat beat writer for the Sun-Sentinel Ira Winderman joined the Big O Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the state of the team and their upcoming road trip.
"Right now, the eastern conference has a better record head to head against the Western Conference. This is where some of the best ball in the NBA, or at least most competitive ball in the NBA, is being played. So, in a way the Heat going west, maybe it's not as daunting as we thought ... but every game is going to continue to matter. They'll see the standings at the start of the night when they play late. They'll know where they stand. Yeah, these are good times right now if you're a Heat fan."
"You know it's all about three point shooting ... That's why I still think the Heat need to find one more three point shooter or find players to get them to shoot three pointers better ... I think Tyler Johnson will emerge as that though. That's the one I'm looking at. I think the one-two punch on threes could wind up being Tyler Johnson and Chris Bosh."
