Winderman: 'Hard to Believe' Wade is Lakers' Top Target
Is Dwyane Wade seriously considering the Los Angeles Lakers and is the interest mutual?
"When the Lakers start free agency, and they have this big amount of cash," the Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman said on the Big O Show, "I really find it hard to believe that Dwyane is number 1A on their list. So, it's going to play out into July anyway.
"If Dwyane Wade is not happy with the money being offered from the Heat, and I think by all indications that's the case, he has to create leverage. But is there really leverage out there? It's not like a Chicago homecoming is something Dwyane has spoken about for the last 12 years. It's not like Dwyane has said, or put out hints before this whole process started, 'Gabby (Union) really wants to get back to the west coast, and L.A. would be perfect for us. Her career is more important to me.' Then you could start sweating. But all of a sudden now you're trying to create a market now."
