Wind advisory issued for Miami-Dade, Broward
MIAMI -- The National Weather Service issued a Wind advisory for coastal Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Watch out for a few showers riding in along an ocean breeze today. Showers will move across our coastal areas at any point of the day today, with winds gusting between 25 and 30 mph. Highs will warm into the upper 70s and low 80s under a mostly cloudy sky.
Sunday will be a "rinse-and-repeat" of Saturday, with a few breezy showers set to move through throughout the day. Winds will likely be a touch stronger, with gusts up to 40 mph possible across the coast.
Monday through Wednesday will bring more of the same, with periodic showers and highs in the lower 80s. Winds should begin to calm down a bit beginning Tuesday, so conditions won't be as breezy for the second half of the work week.
Looking forward to the end of the week, a cold front will move through sometime Friday.
This will bring another batch of cold air into the area for next weekend, which will bring overnight lows back down into the 50s.
