West Perrine shooting under investigation

MIAMI - Police detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department are investigating a shooting in West Perrine on Tuesday afternoon. 

CBS News Miami images showed a large area cordoned off with yellow police tape, as well as, multiple police units in the area of 105th Aven and SW 177 Street. 

Here's what MDPD said about the shooting: 

"According to investigators, two groups of individuals were having a dispute when firearms were produced, and shots were fired. Units arrived on the scene and discovered a teenager grazed by a bullet.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and treated the teen, she was release on the scene."

"Officers then learned that an adult male and female arrived at Jackson South Hospital suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. It was later determined that these individuals were involved in the shooting."

"The male is listed in critical condition and the female's condition is unknown. Three adult males were detained, and are being questioned to determine their involvement, if any."

The shooting remains under investigation.
