Water Main Break Caused Sinkhole On Pompano Beach Road

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A sinkhole formed on South Andrews Avenue in Pompano Beach.
The small sinkhole was apparently caused by a water main break near SW 8th Stree.
One driver who didn't see it accidentally got stuck in it.
For much of the morning and early afternoon, only one southbound lane of South Andrews Avenue between SW 3rd Street and just north of McNab Road was open. The other southbound lane and both northbound lanes were closed.
Just before 3 p.m., all lanes were reopened.
