SAN DIEGO (CBSMiami) - The 2016 San Diego Comic Con debuted a number of trailers for some upcoming highly anticipated movies including Justice League and Wonder Woman.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck who reprises his role as Bruce Wayne, aka Batman. Batman, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, (Gal Gadot) to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League will open in theaters November 17, 2017.
And while we are on the subject of Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot will star in her own film before Justice League. In the trailer, Diana Prince sees a man for the first time. Actor Chris Pine plays Steve Trevor, a man who has witnessed the darkest parts of humanity but finds hope when he meet's Diana Prince.
Wonder Woman is set for release on June 2, 2017.
