MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Another chilly start across South Florida--but expect a pleasant warm-up heading into the weekend.

Temperatures got down into the upper 40s across interior sections of Broward County, while other communities felt the mid to upper 50s.  Normal low for this time of year is 64.

Mainly sunny skies on tap for the remainder of the day, with afternoon highs getting back into the lower 70s. Normal high is around 78, so still a touch cooler than average.

Heading into the weekend, the dry weather hangs out, along with the pleasant afternoon sunshine.

Mornings will start off "crisp," or cool, with the mid to upper 50s expected both Saturday and Sunday mornings and very pleasant afternoon temperatures both days, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
