Victim Pinned Under Cement Truck In Deadly Accident

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Investigators are looking into a fatal accident involving a bicyclist and a cement truck.
It happened Thursday morning on SR 7, just south of the Davie Blvd exit.
Broward Sheriff's Office traffic homicide detectives said the pedestrian was hit on a bike and pinned underneath the truck.
One witness only noticed what happened after he heard screaming.
"I heard the commotion and I looked up and seen the driver of the truck over here pacing back and forth, freaking out, ya know?" said Terry Maitre.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene.
The area was temporarily blocked off while they looked over the scene.
