MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- An undercover narcotics operation has led to the arrest of an Uber driver accused of selling drugs.

Ilitch Brown-Muñoz, 38, was taken into custody by Miami Police in Coconut Grove.

An undercover officer was able to coordinate a drug buy with Brown-Muñoz at the Quick Stop at 3135 Grand Avenue on Tuesday, July 5th, around 8:30 p.m., according to an arrest report.

Police said Brown-Muñoz pulled into the store's parking lot, got into the undercover officer's vehicle, and sold the officer a baggie containing "several suspected pieces of hard cocaine," which were later tested and confirmed.

Brown-Muñoz was then arrested trying to leave the parking lot.

Inside his car, they found a marijuana joint, 81 anabolic steroids, two more bags of cocaine, a loaded Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum, and hundreds of dollars in cash, the arresting officer said.

He faces several charges including drug possession with intent to sell and was taken to Miami-Dade County Jail.
