Uber Offers Free Rides To Curb Drinking & Driving

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Just in time for Halloween festivities, Uber is offering something to help curb drinking and driving in South Florida.
Uber is launching a drinking and driving awareness campaign and along with that offering free rides to those who are unable to get behind the wheel.
The company will have various kiosks set up throughout South Florida through the Halloween weekend in spots like Wynwood and Miami Beach.
The way it works is the Halloween party-goer would visit the kiosk in one of those areas and from there they will assign a driver to that person, free of charge.
Halloween weekend is considered to have one of the highest incident rates for drinking and driving.
