MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Police have charged two people who they say were stole packages from in front of several Coral Gables homes.

Tuesday around 2 p.m. police pulled over Adalberto Martinez, 20, and noticed a number of packages in the backseat of his Toyota with shipping labels still affixed.

When asked if the packages were his, a visibly nervous Martinez reportedly told the officers yes, according to police. He was then asked if the packages were in his name and Martinez allegedly said that they were his cousins.

Neither Martinez nor his passenger, 18-year old Sharon Baldriche, could provide the names or the addresses on any of the packages in the vehicle.

Officers saw on one of the packages that it had been sent to 6908 Portillo Street, another had been shipped to 11045 Girasol Avenue.

The package sent to 6908 Portillo Street turned out to contain a doggie mat and a container with tea. The packages sent to 11045 Girasol Avenue had a $127 jacket inside.

Martinez and Baldriche were charged with burglary and larceny.
