MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Twitter users will now have a bit more freedom when it comes to their tweets.
Bloomberg reports the social media site will stop counting photos and links as part of its 140 character limit.
Links take up 23 characters in a tweet. Photos count as 24 characters.
The move comes amid talks that Twitter should become more flexible since CEO Jack Dorsey returned to the company. Earlier this year, the company considered raising the limit to as many as 10,000 characters.
The change reportedly may happen within the next two weeks.
The company reportedly declined to comment on the matter.
