MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Twitter launched a new feature this week meant to fight abusive tweets.
The company is now making it possible to share blocked lists.
The "Mute" and "Block" tools, according to the company, helps users control unwanted or negative interactions with other Twitter users. This is especially helpful with those who have a large amount of interactions.
How does it work?
Users can export and share their block lists with people in the community facing similar issues. They can also import another user's list into their own account and block multiple accounts at once.
The company says the new tools are a step closer to make Twitter safer for its users.
