MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) –Lexus owners need to check if they're on Toyota's recall list for vehicles with a faulty gasket that can leak and possibly cause a fire.

The Japanese car company announced on Wednesday they are recalling around 423,000 older-model Lexus luxury cars in the U.S. The move is part of three global recalls totaling around 1.7 million vehicles.

Here is the list of models covered in the recall:

  • LS Models from 2007-2010
  • GS Models from 2006-2011
  • IS Models from 2006-2011
  • IS-C Models from 2010
  • IS-F Models from 2008-2010

All of the models have Toyota's UR or GR engines.

The company said in a statement that a fuel system gasket can become degraded and leak. However, no fires, crashes or injuries have been reported.

Starting in December, Toyota will start mailing notifications to Lexus owners. The reason for the lengthy delay between its announcement and sending notifications is because the company has to make parts and special tools for dealers to replace the gasket.

On Wednesday, Toyota announced two other recalls.

About 800,000 cars in Japan, China and elsewhere in Asia to fix potential brake master cylinder leaks. The models listed below all share the same model years, 2007-2012.

  • Crown Majesta
  • Crown
  • Noah
  • Voxy

Also, about 190,000 Corolla, Rumion and Auris models built from October of 2006 through October of this year. Dealers will fix a faulty fuel evaporator emissions control unit.
