The Perez Art Museum has a visiting exhibition that is not child-oriented per say, but it does offer an important educational opportunity disguised as a trip to the museum. "The Marjetica Potrc: The School of the Forest" is a series of eco-friendly edifices constructed to work in harmony with the environment and inspired by actual Amazonian structures. Here your children can view homes, growing houses and more painted in vibrant colors and decorated with Amazonian statues and learn how these buildings not only serve as a place for housing but also sustain a community. It's a great opportunity for your child to learn about the world and what they can do to make it better. The School of the Forest exhibit runs from June 11th to Oct. 18th.

Give your child an education in the unconventional. From June 6 to Jan. 3, artist Leah Brown takes children into the expanses of her imagination to explore a dream world where lithe creatures pounce about and fiction becomes reality. "Transformation of Echo: World of Dreams" is the latest exhibit at the Young At Art Museum and it features floating figures, video screens and impossible animals that will transport your child to a wonderland comparable to Alice's trip down the rabbit hole. There is no additional fee to attend, simply pay general admission and get ready to explore life in someone else's head.
