Top Panthers Stats During The 12-Game Winning Streak

The Florida Panthers are one of the hottest teams the NHL has seen in the past several years.

After beating the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, Florida has now won 12 consecutive games and enjoy a five point cushion for first place in the Atlantic Division.

The winning streak is the longest in Panthers franchise history, dwarfing the old mark of seven straight games.

Florida has also tied a franchise record for consecutive games with at least a point. The Panthers began the 96-97 season by going 8-0-4 in the first 12 games.

Here are some of the more impressive stats that have come from the winning streak.

During the 12-game streak Florida has outscored its opponents by 23 goals, scoring 38 while surrendering just 15.

The Panthers have given up one of fewer goals in nine of the twelve games. They have also only given up more than two goals once during the streak.
