There are multiple neighborhoods in Sunrise, which stretches along the Sawgrass Expressway between Interstate 595 and 870 and is right beside the Everglades. Running parallel to Highway 1 between 913 and S. Le Jeune Road, Coconut Grove is found in the middle of Miami and is actually one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. There are plenty of houses throughout the neighborhood here to visit, as well as a variety of shops and restaurants to stop at before or after trick-or-treating. This is a safe neighborhood, but it is recommended for families who want to do trick-or-treating here to start earlier in the evening before the adult-only crowd hits the area. Victoria Park is not only a safe neighborhood for trick-or-treating, but is also among one of the most popular in the area every Halloween. Given its popularity and its well-known trick-or-treating factor, it's best to show up early if you plan to take the family here this Halloween. This neighborhood is located in Fort Lauderdale, immediately south of Sunrise Blvd in the 'curve' of Highway 1. This shopping center hosts an annual community Halloween party every year, which includes lots of treats, refreshments and fun for children of all ages.
