PALM BEACH GARDENS (CBSMiami) — Dressed in a grey suit and wearing sunglasses, golf superstar Tiger Woods said nothing entering court Friday.

Woods accepted a plea deal Friday to resolve a driving under the influence case. He was arrested in May after passing out in his Mercedes on the side of a road.

Woods had no alcohol in his system that night but toxicology reports revealed prescription medicine and marijuana. Because he had no prior record, he was eligible for a first time DUI offender program.

"The defendant will be pleading guilty to a charge of reckless driving," said a judge.

He'll be on probation for a year and could spend time in jail for another violation. He'll have to undergo random drug and alcohol testing during that time. He's already completed a DUI program and community service.

Since his arrest, Woods has been active on Twitter, sharing photos from the World Series and the putting greens.

Nothing prevents him from traveling or competing.

"This is only designed for first time offenders," said State Attorney Dave Aronberg. "It is a one-time mistake, not a scarlet letter for the rest of his life."
