Three Hurricanes Accept Invitations To Play In Senior Bowl

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – The Miami Hurricanes are preparing for their appearance in the Russell Athletic Bowl later this month against West Virginia.
It will be the final game at the University of Miami for the seniors.
A select group of those final year players have been offered coveted spots in a prestigious postseason all-star game.
Cornerback Corn Elder, offensive lineman Danny Isidora and sagety Rayshawn Jenkins received invitations to play in the annual Senior Bowl.
All three players have accepted the invites.
Elder has been one of the Hurricanes best defensive players for several years. He had 69 tackles with 4.5 for a loss of yards, a team-leading 12 pass breakups, a fumble recovery and an interception this season.
Jenkins was third on the Canes defense with 70 tackles while braking up seven passes and leading the team with two interceptions.
Isidora has been an anchor on the offensive line during his entire time with Miami, starting in 38 consecutive games for the Hurricanes.
