MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It's been almost three months since there was any live NFL action for fans to enjoy. That's going to change on Thursday night.
There won't be a field or any referees but it's a big of a night for NFL teams as any.
The first round of the 2015 NFL Draft is set to begin at 8 p.m. from the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. The second and third rounds will take place on Friday night starting at 7 p.m. while rounds four through seven are set for Saturday beginning at noon.
The venue change is a big deal as the previous fifty drafts had been held in New York City, but league commissioner Roger Goodell announced last year that the draft would be moved from its usual home at Radio City Music Hall.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold the number one pick and are expected to draft a quarterback, with many experts believing that former Florida State star Jameis Winston will be the man they select.
As for the Miami Dolphins, they currently hold the 14th pick but trying to predict what direction the team will go with that pick has been difficult as they have several areas of need.
