Teens Arrested For Hialeah Burglary, Killing Pet

HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- Two teenagers are behind bars, accused of a residential break-in and the brutal killing of the family dog inside.

Luis Jiminez, 18, and Sadiel Iglesias, 19, face several charges including burglary and animal cruelty.

Hialeah Police said the heinous and cruel nature in the death of the 6-year-old Yorkie at 3865 W. 11th Avenue in Hialeah prompted immediate action from burglary detectives to catch the suspects.

Both men are also suspected of several other thefts and burglaries in the area.
