Teenage Girl Shot In Deerfield Beach

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) – A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after shooting herself.
According to BSO Fire Rescue officials, the teenage girl was shot in the chest in the 800 block of SE 2nd Place in Deerfield Beach.
The Broward Sheriff's Office is not releasing any details other than confirming it was self-inflicted.
It's not clear if it was a suicide attempt or an accidental shooting.
The girl was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center.
Her condition is not known.
