Teen Dies After He Was Struck By Two Vehicles On St. Pete Beach

ST. PETERSBURG BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — A died after he was struck by two vehicles on St. Petersburg Beach.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports 17-year-old Patrick McClean was hit Saturday at about 12:45 a.m.

According to deputies, McClean was hit by one vehicle and then struck by a second.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say alcohol may be a factor in the crash. The drivers of both vehicles showed signs of impairment.

The investigation is ongoing.
