MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- With primaries in full swing there is speculation over who would be chosen as a candidate to run for vice president.

The Washington Post thinks if presidential hopeful Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination, Florida Governor Rick Scott may be his pick for the position of vice president.

According to the paper, like Trump, Gov. Scott comes from the private sector. He made millions as a health-care executive before he ran to be governor back in 2010.

They said Gov. Scott was also an early advocate of Trump, saying he "captured the frustration of many Americans.

Trump, like Gov. Scott, is "beating the Republican establishment at its own game," the paper states. Trump has done something similar in this race.

But the Florida governor wasn't the only one on the list of possible vice presidential candidates if Trump were to win the nomination.

Also on the list, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Sarah Palin and Carly Fiorina.
