South Florida Getting Ready To 'Chill Out'

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A stretch of South Florida warmth will come to an end as the next cold front moves through for the weekend.

This front will clear the area late Saturday into early Sunday morning. As the front moves in, our warmth gets pushed out.

High temperatures early next week will be below normal as well as overnight and early morning temperatures.

Sunday's Miami Marathon and Half Marathon gets underway in downtown Miami early Sunday morning. Expect plenty of sunshine, however much colder temperatures at 6 a.m. in the mid-50s.

Highs over the last six days have ranged from 74° to 81°, where the "normal" or "average" high for this time of year is 76°.  Our normal low is 60°.
