Smoky Scene Turns Heads At Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Smoke could be seen billowing from the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale Sunday.

The smoke was coming from a grease fire in the kitchen of the Hilton at 521 N Ft. Lauderdale Beach Boulevard around 11:30 a.m.

Beachgoers could see the smoke pouring from the hotel.

According to hotel officials, the fire was under control quickly and no one was injured.
