Small Plane Lands On Florida Highway

NAPLES, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) — A small plane landed safely on a Florida highway before taking off again shortly after, authorities said.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office said the pilot was experiencing mechanical issues before landing on U.S. 41 near Naples on Sunday.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Karie Partington told the Naples Daily News that the pilot was a flight school student and was not injured.
The pilot was able to restart the plane and eventually took off a short time later.
No further details were immediately available.
