Search On For Missing Diver Off South Florida Coast

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The 48-foot boat the 'Lady Go Diver' sent an emergency call on Sunday regarding a missing diver, triggering a Coast Guard chopper and cutter search off Deerfield Beach.
"Surprised me the dive boat is out when it is rough. Surprised they are out that far," said Steve Schweiger.
Schweiger saw the Coast Guard search from shore on Sunday.
Much like now, he says conditions were choppy.
The Coast Guard tweeting they along with the Broward Sheriff began searching Sunday for a 55-year-old male diver reported missing a half-mile south of Deerfield Beach.
The man was diving with a group from the 'Lady Go Diver' but when the group surfaced, he did not.
The dive boat operator told us the man was an experienced diver from out of town.
