MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami Police are searching for a man who broke into a dozen cars in a gated Brickell parking lot.
Surveillance cameras rolled as a man entered the Metropolitan Building located at 2475 Brickell Avenue on December 19th around midnight.
He walked in through the garage entrance while the gate was open.
"What you can see in the video is him coming into the garage, just walking around in the garage," said Lt. Freddie Cruz with Miami Police.
Once inside, police said the man went on to steal various items from the vehicles.
"In some of the cases, he did not even take anything. He just ransacked the vehicle, however, he caused extensive damage while breaking the windows," said Cruz.
At one point, the man goes to a vending machine, grabs a soda then appears to urinate into a water fountain -- according to staffers at the condo.
Investigators are asking the public for help in tracking him down.
"We do believe that this individual is responsible for other crimes in the area and we're asking the community to please help us out. If you know this individual, please come forward with any and all information so we can apprehend him before he strikes again," said Cruz.
Miami Police said the man is about 25 to 30 years old, about 5'10, 180 pounds with black hair.
Anyone who recognizes the man or has information in the case is urged to call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at (305) 471- TIPS.
