Why would Seahawks GM John Schneider care what Ryan Tannehill's contract extension looks like?
Seattle is undergoing contract negotiations with their own QB from the same draft class in Russell Wilson and Tannehill's deal sets a baseline. It's kind of similar to looking at comps in the neighborhood before putting a house up for sale.
This prompted a call from Schneider to Pat Dye, Tannehill's agent.
