MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins are continuing their search for a new running back.
After letting Lamar Miller go in free agency and losing out on C.J. Anderson to the Denver Broncos, Miami is moving on to the next option.
On Wednesday ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that free agent running back Chris Johnson was visiting with the Dolphins.
Johnson is coming off of a strong season with the Arizona Cardinals in which he gained 814 yards in 11 games, averaging an impressive 4.2 yards per carry.
The veteran running back, who turns 31 in September, went to Arizona after a down year with the New York Jets but appears to have plenty left in the tank.
