Rosenhaus: Tannehill Could Be 'One of the Best QBs' in NFL This Year
Some eyes widened after Ryan Tannehill received a contract extension that could be worth up to $96 million through 2020.
NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus calls it a "neutral" deal for Tannehill and the Dolphins, saying it's "very consistent" with the contracts negotiated with Andy Dalton and Colin Kaepernick.
"It's an excellent deal for the Dolphins because they lock up a guy who could potentially develop into one of the best quarterbacks in the league this year," Rosenhaus said on the Joe Rose Show. "And we know how hard it is to find these guys. I mean the Dolphins haven't had a quarterback the caliber of Ryan Tannehill since they had Dan Marino. That's a fact. Tannehill is the best quarterback the Dolphins have had since Dan Marino."
