"It's time to pay Dwyane Wade," the Miami Herald's Linda Robertson said on the Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz, "and a lot of people would argue the other way and say why be loyal to this guy when we're talking about sports as a business and the team should do what the team needs to do and give him less and see if he'll take that.
"He is the Miami Heat. He's won three titles. He's the face of the franchise. He's the soul of the team. He's sacrificed in the past to win and I think they would be doing themselves a lot of harm to just screw him over in this case."
