Report: Jim Harbaugh Headed to Michigan

Jim Harbaugh will be the next head coach at the University of Michigan, according to Marcellus Wiley. The former player and current ESPN host tweeted the following Friday afternoon:

Jim Harbaugh will be the Head Coach of Michigan, according to 2 of my sources. Announcement coming after the season #GettingMyAdamSchefterOn

The Jets, Raiders, Falcons and Dolphins have been among the professional teams linked to Harbaugh over the last weeks. He's still under contract with the 49ers, however, so any NFL team interested would have to acquire him by trade.

Reports swirled this week of his alma mater offering him upwards of $8 million a season. With Wiley's assertion that an announcement will be coming at the end of the season, and Wiley not exactly being known as news-breaker, Harbaugh Watch could still have some legs for a few more weeks.
