FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Rick Ross has filed a countersuit against two men who claimed the rapper attacked them at his home outside Atlanta.

Ross, whose real name is William Roberts, was arrested June 24th and accused, along with his bodyguard, of badly beating a man on June 7.

That man, Jonathan Zamudio, was a landscaper for Ross at properties in Georgia and Florida. He and another landscaper, Leonardo Caceres, along with several of Zamudio's family members, filed a lawsuit last month. They alleged that Ross stormed into his guest house, where they were living, and beat them with a gun.

In a countersuit filed Wednesday, Ross says the two men weren't supposed to be living on his property, disputes the beating allegations and calls their lawsuit an attempt to extort him.
