Puppy In A Pipe Prompts Pooch's Rescue
POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – Firefighters in Pompano Beach were called to rescue a 12-week-old puppy that fell down a pipe.
The small dog named Lucy fell about six-feet down into the bend of the pipe on South Cypress Bend Drive.
Firefighters looped her leash down the drain around her neck and rescued her before a backhoe arrived to dig around the pipe.
The puppy was handed over to its owner and appeared to be okay.
