Precautionary Boil Water Notice Lifted For Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES( CBSMiami) -- The city of Pembroke Pines has rescinded a precautionary boil water notice that has been in effect since Thursday of last week.

Officials said the satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

Utility customers West of Interstate 75 were asked to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, washing dishes, or brushing teeth.

The notice was sent out after a water line broke Thursday but was later repaired.
