Police Want To Identify Men Seen Taking Light Fixtures

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Surveillance cameras captured two men taking light fixtures from the parking lot of the New Shooters Waterfront restaurant in August.

The images of the subjects were just released by police.

Fort Lauderdale police want to identify the subjects so officers can find them.

The incident took place on Northeast 32nd Avenue on August 15.

Officials said 25 of the decorative light fixtures were taken.

The subjects could be seen dismantling the fixtures and cutting the wires to each light before placing the fixtures into black trash bags and leaving.

According to police, the fixtures were worth more than $5,000.
