Police release video of fatal shooting in Fort Lauderdale

Video of deadly shooting in Fort Lauderdale shows moments when several shot, including child

FORT LAUDERDALE — Fort Lauderdale police have released surveillance video showing a shooting that two people dead — and three adults and a 2-year-old boy injured — on Monday.

Police told CBS News Miami the shooting happened just before 8 p.m. on Monday. In the video, a silver sedan whips around a corner near the 800 block of Northwest 10th Terrace when one of its doors opens and someone begins shooting.

Officers found Tiarra Holliday, 28, dead at the scene when they arrived. Her 2-year-old son, Deeago Henry, was also shot.  

The boy and three other people were taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where one man — Sheldon Lawrence, 45 — died.  On Tuesday, a man and woman were released from the hospital.

Casey Liening with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department told CBS News Miami that preliminary information suggested the drive-by shooting was an "isolated incident."

Along with the video, police shared that they had found a vehicle abandoned shortly after the shooting. The suspects, however, are still at large.
