Police Release New Images Of Subjects Who Allegedly Beat & Robbed Man

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Police Department released new video Thursday of a man being brutally beaten and robbed.

The incident took place at the corner of Southwest 5 Avenue and Southwest 8 Street just before 7 a.m. September 15.

Detectives said two men approached the victim, beat him and took his wallet.

The suspects fled the scene.

Officials described the first man as being about 20 to 30-years-old. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black pants and he has a tattoo sleeve on his right arm and a goatee.

The second man was described as about the same age and was also wearing a white tank top with capri pants and had a possible tattoo on his right shoulder.   The man reportedly had a full beard and a black skully.

The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial's Ryder Trauma Unit for treatment.
