Police: Man, woman found dead in Hialeah apartment, child found uninjured
MIAMI - Hialeah police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday evening, after the bodies of a man and a woman were found inside an apartment, along with an uninjured child.
Police said it appeared to be a domestic dispute that escalated at an apartment building in the 600 block of West 68th Street.
Arriving officers found the bodies, who were not immediately identified, along with a 3-year-old boy.
Police said the sister of the dead woman could not get a hold of her after a few days and called police to do a welfare check.
The child was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
Police would not say if police had been called to this address in the past.
Authorities did say that the man and woman were the biological parents of the boy.
Detectives continue to investigate.
