Police: Man Kills Girlfriend, Himself In Kendale Lakes Home

KENDALE LAKES (CBSMiami) -- Police are investigating the apparent murder-suicide of a couple in Kendale Lakes.

Pastor Paez, 50, and Lisette Iglesias, 62, were found dead inside their home at 12958 S.W. 50th Lane on Sunday.

Responding officers and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said Iglesias' son called police after finding the couple both shot in the head.

Investigators said Paez shot Iglesias and then shot himself. They were pronounced dead on the scene.

Relatives were seen outside the home, stunned and emotional about the incident.

While neighbors said they heard nothing abnormal, one woman told CBS4's Donna Rapado that she saw police near the home last week.
